Steve has a Bachelor of Science (Geography) from James Cook University, Cairns.
He is a Geospatial Analyst with over 15 years experience in GIS, mobile data collection & remote sensing. He has worked extensivly in the fields of fire behavior mapping, landscape analysis, agricultural, forestry and natural resource management, and urban asset & infrastructure management. He has experience training GIS professionals and members of the public with mobile data collection and rural and agricultural property mapping. He has a strong interest in drone piloting and drone image and 3D model development.
While with Abzeco, Stephen has been project manager on a range of GIS mapping projects including weed mapping in Terrick Terrick National Park, Drone Mapping of Serrated Tussok infestations and mapping for a wide range of Biodiversity Assessments and Bushfire Management Plans for development projects across Victoria.
