4th National Biodiversity Offsets Conference

Abzeco attended the 4^th National Biodiversity Offsets Conference held in Canberra over three days from the 4^th to the 6^th August 2026. Abzeco was proud to be one of the events sponsors, sponsoring the morning tea. The conference provided the opportunity to hear from regulators, lawyers, academics, traditional owners, ecologists and industry stake holders about Australia’s recent Environmental Law reforms being established to address the severe decline in biodiversity and the natural environment. This was a great opportunity to build on Abzeco’s existing connections in the offset space, build relationships with new regulatory bodies and gain insights in upcoming changes relevant to the ecological consulting space so that we can be ready for these changes to assist our clients and take part in the efforts to improve the health of our natural environment.
