Wendy completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Biology/Biological Resource Management) majoring in Zoology and Botany at the Ballarat College of Advanced Education in 1987 and a Master of Environmental Science at Monash University in 1996.
Wendy Jeffery is a Senior Ecologist with over 25 years’ specialist experience in flora and fauna ecology, ecological assessment and environmental management. She has practical knowledge and skills in terrestrial and aquatic ecology, field botany, zoology, flora and fauna surveys and managing terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. She applies her skills to project impact assessment and minimisation, vegetation loss assessment and offsets, management of habitat for threatened species, remediation and revegetation. Wendy is experienced in all aspects of field assessment, data analysis and reporting including environment effects statements and management plans, from concept stage to final. Wendy has provided ecological assessment for many, water, power, road and rail infrastructure, Defence facilities and asset management projects. She has undertaken ecological projects in most states and territories within Australia.
