Lachlan completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science/Environment and Society from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2020 and is currently completing his Master of Environment (Conservation and Restoration) at University of Melbourne.
Lachlan has recently joined Abzeco. Previously he has worked in strategic planning and threatened species management roles at DEECA. He has a background in Environmental Science/Society and is currently undertaking a Master of Environment (Conservation and Restoration) at the University of Melbourne.
In his previous roles and during his studies Lachlan has become proficient with a range of GIS and remote sensing software packages as well as spatial analysis, manipulation of tabular data, image processing, geoprocessing, boundary digitisation and map production.
Since starting with Abzeco, Lachlan has prepared mapping for a range of projects including Biodiversity Monitoring, Threatened Species Surveys, Biodiversity Assessment Reports and Bushfire and Land Management Plans.

- Victorian School Building Authority 2023: Mapping for desktop assessments of proposed VSBA envelopes within the new growth areas.
- Bushfire Management Plans 2024/25
- Biodiversity Assessment Mapping 2025 – Various projects across Victoria in accordance with VQA Habitat Hectare methodology and the Guidelines.
