Abzeco have undertaken large monitoring and mapping projects throughout Victoria including Systematic EVC Mapping and biodiversity monitoring of remnant vegetation over an area of approximately 200,000 ha managed by a private plantation company. Our staff have also understand post fire vegetation assessment, endangered plant monitoring and weed mapping for DSE across areas impacted by the tragic fires of February 2009, which included areas of Kinglake National Park, Yarra Ranges National Park, Melbourne Water catchments, the Stanley Range and Strzelecki Ranges.
Our team uses advanced digital field-mapping technology which is integral to our Geographic Information System (GIS) capability. We can efficiently and effectively assess large areas and provide detailed maps of vegetation and habitat areas to assist conservation planning.
Abzeco have invested in the latest field equipment to deliver accurate, cost effective GIS Mapping solutions, for more details see our GIS Mapping services.
